Guiding Vision, Creating Change

MEET THE LEADERS DRIVING OUR MISSION FORWARD.

Dr. Eartha Hackett

President, Burnett and Eugenia (BES) Foundation, Inc.

Hello, I am Dr. Eartha Hackett, and I have the privilege of serving as the President of the Burnett and Eugenia Simpson (BES) Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities, promoting education and fostering positive change, especially in the lives of the elderly and those who are less fortunate.

This foundation was created to continue the work of my parents Eugenia and Barnett Simpson worked tirelessly to help others and to share all they were blessed with with those who were less fortunate.

With a background in Psychology and Education and a deep-seated commitment to making a difference, I have spent my career promoting education, psychological adjustment and advocating for those who are less fortunate.

My journey in the nonprofit sector began with a simple belief, that compassion and action can transform lives. This is a lesson that I learned from my parents, Eugenia and Burnett Simpson. As President of the BES Foundation, I have had the honor of leading a team of passionate individuals who share this vision. Together, we will work tirelessly to address pressing social issues, from education to health promotion, addressing poverty, and helping others to experience a better quality of life.

My approach to leadership is rooted in collaboration and community engagement. I firmly believe that sustainable change comes from within, and we strive to empower individuals and communities to be architects of their future. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive impact.

Beyond the boardroom, I look forward to becoming actively involved in the field, connecting with the communities we serve, and understanding their unique needs. Whether it is organizing local events, participating in outreach programs, or collaborating with other nonprofits, I am dedicated to fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Together with the incredible team at BES Foundation Inc., we are working towards a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. It is not just a position for me; it is a calling, a mission to create lasting change. I am inspired daily by the resilience of the human spirit and the belief that, through compassion and collective effort, we can build a brighter tomorrow.

Sincerely,
Eartha Hackett, PhD.
